November 25, 2024, is a day we’re going to remember for a long time.
My cousin, brother, and I, through our company B4 Manga, released the first issue in our new Manga series, Fade to Black, on the morning of November 25th, 2024. The issue was released digitally on B4 Manga.
Fade to Black was written and illustrated by Michael Huskey, my cousin, and an incredibly talented artist and writer whom I couldn’t be prouder of.
Michael’s story is filled with patience, perseverance, and commitment to harnessing and continuously perfecting his craft. It’s a testament to the drive, ambition, and effort it takes to realize your potential as you pursue your dreams.
Our vision here at B4 Manga is to assist fellow Mangaka’s (aspiring or accomplished) who, like Michael, have the drive, ambition, perseverance, and commitment to realize your true potential as well.
The Story
In a world teetering on the edge of oblivion, unimaginable horrors lurk just beyond the veil of darkness, preying on the unsuspecting. But humanity is not without protection. For centuries, a secret order known as the Children of Avalon has fought in the shadows, standing as the last line of defense against the creatures that threaten to plunge the world into eternal night.
Trained in ancient arts and wielding weapons infused with the essence of light, the Children of Avalon wage a never-ending battle to keep the darkness at bay. However, their struggle takes an unexpected turn when Shin Foster, a rebellious 15-year-old with a knack for finding trouble, crosses paths with the enigmatic Aria Blackstone. In one fateful encounter, Shin is thrust into the hidden war—where nightmares are real, and the fate of humanity may rest in his hands.
With a relentless enemy evolving beyond control and the ancient magic that once held them at bay weakening, the world is running out of time. As Shin is forced to choose between running from the truth or standing and fighting, one thing is certain—the night is growing darker, and only the strongest will survive.
